Developers spent decades working out how to build software well. Now we’re learning it all over again.

We got there by making every kind of mistake, keeping what worked, and turning those lessons into practices that let large teams build reliable systems.

It’s absurd to watch old ideas get treated as new. AI “do loops” are one example. Loops are a basic building block.

AI already knows the drill, turning incomplete or messy input into what humans meant instead of making them relearn generations of practice.
